Garuda Pancasila

76 years ago, on the last session of the Indonesian independence committee's meeting, Soekarno, Indonesian statesman who later became the first president of Indonesia, mentioned the word "Pancasila" or "Five principles" for the first time. Today, Pancasila is still the most important part of Indonesian constitution and has an important role throughout Indonesia's post independence history, life, and politics. Garuda was then designed by Sultan Hamid II from Pontianak and Pancasila is embedded on its chest with shield and five emblems which represent every principle of Pancasila. So here I present to you, my Garuda Pancasila (with some modifications).
