I have a day job as a Spanish medical interpreter, but I completed a Certificate in Graphic Design years ago, and have been chipping away at being a designer ever since.

I went through a phase of wanting to be a web designer and built a few websites for friends, and friends of friends. Lately I've taken a turn more towards Illustration and actually making things on paper.

I've taken classes during the pandemic at the School of Visual Arts in New York (online), which have influenced me a lot. Finding Domestika was also a great discovery. Kate Sutton's 'Illustrated Life Journal' class has literally changed my life. I now do a little drawing in a sketchbook on most days (not every day, but most). I have also studied a little bit of hand-lettering, and would like to master brush lettering (but it takes so much practice!!)
