Hello!
My name is Nevin Penny. I love photography, digital art, visual creativity, sound art, and, of course, music. I have been running creative writing story sessions for several years with my son, who has autism. He has communication difficulties and is almost non-verbal. He has made good progress in expressing his thoughts and interaction through written format of communication. He has improved thinking in pictures, abstract thoughts and imagination. He has a story channel on YOUTUBE called: Stories in Colour-autism.
He has just finished his seventeenth story and they are all shared on his channel with sound and music in video format. He creates short pieces of music and also plays piano. I capture his singing and convert it to a song with the help of his piano tutor. I like to create something unique and creative which may perhaps reflect my son’s autism. I enjoy and learn greatly from Domestika courses and transfer my learning to his home programmes to create projects. A big thank you to Domestika.
