Sut Samphos

Sut Samphos or Jacky a founder of Cambodia Image has decided to live with photography in mission of introduction Cambodia by photography. Born in 1981 at Kratie Province, northeast Cambodia with 11 brothers and with stories behind ( strive to survive ) before his decision being a photographer. From 14 to 18 years old, he survived as a street boy, fortunately he got support for an education from NGOs and foreigners who visited Cambodia for change. Education support and life experience has brought him to become a photographer today and has involved to work for NGOs to improve a better life change for Cambodian street children. In 2014 he won 1st photography prize from Canon Marathon Cambodia, got invited for travel photography to Thailand, Singapore and Japan. In 2017 he was invited to participate Photo exhibition in Tokyo Japan by ( The Month of Photography, Tokyo 2017) Through photography he would like to tell and introduce to the world about Cambodia as he mentioned the world will recognize Cambodia not only about Angkor Wat and Pol Pot regime, but photography will tell more stories.
