Barbara Dixon

I have been interested and involved in art all my life. I loved art and science subjects at school especially those that involved drawing. I've worked in both science (as a medical microbiology technician at Guy's Hospital Medical School) and in the arts (as an art teacher and much later as a visual arts officer and art gallery officer in Swindon Borough Council). Since taking early retirement in 2011, I have been able to devote my time to developing my arts skills and practice.
