Hi! I have always loved art, but somehow I have been a computer programmer for nearly 40 years. About 15 years ago I began making beaded jewelry and boxes with tiny, tiny beads, eventually incorporating metal components and leather. As I get ready to retire, my eyes are starting to cause me problems and working with tiny beads is not the best hobby. So I am branching out, rediscovering sketching that I used to love as a child. Back then I sketched with black ink or pencil. Odd for someone who loves color as much as I do (my daughter told me my house looked "cartoonish" because of all my colors), so now I want to incorporate color. Watercolor, markers, ink, who knows. I want to try it all.
