Anna Kashchenko

Hello, I am Anna Kashchenko an artist and illustrator from Tbilisi. I grew up in Siberia. I spent a lot of time drawing and always wanted to be an artist. My mom was an architect when I was a kid and I love all her architecture magazines and books about great artists.
So after graduating from school I study arts and crafts at the university. In recent years at university, I became interested in illustration. My graduate work was a series of paper-cut illustrations for Astrid Lintgren's fairy tale. After that, I worked with windows in the famous Moscow luxury department store TSUM. During these years, fashion and art become my close friends. But I did not forget about my passion for illustration, I made my own ABC project and dreamed of becoming an illustrator of children's books. I've taken several courses in illustration and design, and made my own projects sometimes, but most of my life has been devoted to display projects. Now I work as a multidisciplinary artist. I love working with living materials such as clay and textiles and don't forget about digital illustration because it gives me the freedom to move and experience another culture.
