I found a shopping bag with some green Pingouin/Penguin wool and the start of something on a pair of old knitting needles when I cleaned up my recently passed Mother's house. I never saw her knit. It was the only wool in her house - looks like she was just starting to learn. I didn't know anything about knitting. Kept opening the shopping bag and wondering what to do. Followed tutorials on Youtube and made a pair of socks. Wool was too thick to wear with shoes, and thus began my first lessons into different wools and knitting. Socks have been darned, really badly darned. I still can't throw them away.
