This is my second project with Substance Designer and my first generator. I've been trying to learn the basics of Designer and dedicate time to making those fundamentals consistent when creating new substances (some of Daniel Thiger's tutorials helped with this).
This design is part of what will be my first demo reel as an Environment/Prop Artist, both for a VFX pipeline and for video games.
This substance is fully modifiable (I'm showing some screenshots of the breakdown with the modifiable parameters). The wooden planks can be altered to your liking, in number, width and height, bevel, order, etc., as well as their texture, with an aging parameter that adds cracks and splinters and darkens the texture. Likewise, the cement wall section is also fully procedural. There are up to three layers of cement to achieve detailed relief in the breaks, cracks, and holes that can be added or removed. The paint layer can also be changed in color, and distressing can be added or removed, among other things.





An example of how this generator can be used for an asset with UDIM. Here it's fully textured in Substance Designer. The result can be improved in Painter (or Mari).
