At VeraContent, we are looking for a native-level Danish speaker, based in Denmark, to cover the role of community manager for our client's social media account for the Danish market. Our client is a company dedicated to fighting food waste.

This role entails:
- Posting content (feed posts and reels) on social media, premade by the client
- Reposting stories of UGC, feed posts and interactive content
- Engaging and managing the brand’s community, which requires being:
. Reactive: answering comments and messages in a timely manner
. Proactive: finding creative ways to engage the community and inspire them to join us in our mission to fight food waste

Main tasks:
- Scheduling posts throughout the month on Instagram and Facebook
- Adapting social media content from English into Danish, when necessary
- Posting content sent by the client (you will not be responsible for content creation)
- Interacting with the community on a regular basis
- Responding to comments and inquiries in a timely manner
- Creating stories on a daily basis to increase engagement and interaction
- Informing the client’s team of any complaints, inquiries or questions received from followers, in order to support the community and strengthen brand reputation
- Trying out new methods and strategies to grow engagement, especially implementing creative and fun stories which will further position the brand as the go-to account for fighting food waste in Denmark
- Checking content sent over and spotting any mistakes before posting; suggesting ways to enhance or improve the content if necessary
- Being in touch with the client on a daily basis to provide feedback and insights to make the workflow as smooth as possible
- Sharing feedback/insights about the community with the client

What we’re looking for:
- Native-level Danish. Excellent writing and communication skills in Danish and strong grasp and understanding of English as well.
- Must be from and based in Denmark
- Skilled in localization from English into Danish (you won’t be asked to translate posts but you will be asked to make sure the content resonates with the target audience)
- Experience in social media community management
- Understanding of social media best practices for businesses, especially on Instagram and Facebook
- Able to bring fresh ideas to the account based on knowledge of current trends and how to leverage them
- Experience with scheduling posts and using social media management tools such as Sprout and Meta
- Strong time management skills and responsiveness (must be able to be in touch with the client and the VeraContent team throughout the day via Slack, and have time for occasional calls)
- Availability to work an average of 3-5 hours a week for this project.
