Abdul Razzaque

I am Abdul Razzaque, a Pakistani development professional with over 14 years of experience in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) across various sectors including WASH, education, child protection, governance, and disaster risk reduction. Hailing from Karachi, I hold a Master’s degree in Sociology and am currently pursuing an MPhil with a focus on child development and social behavior. My professional journey has been shaped by deep community engagement, designing participatory M&E frameworks, and leveraging technology to improve humanitarian responses. I have worked with prominent national and international organizations such as Plan International, WHO, Community World Service Asia, and NRSP under World Bank-funded projects. My work has taken me from urban slums to disaster-prone rural districts, equipping me with a grounded understanding of development challenges in Pakistan.

My growing interest in Artificial Intelligence, particularly ChatGPT, stems from its transformative potential in solving complex data challenges, automating evaluation processes, and enhancing evidence-based decision-making in the development sector. I am keen to explore how AI can be integrated into participatory M&E, data visualization, and qualitative analysis to generate real-time insights and improve program accountability. With hands-on experience in using digital tools like SurveyCTO, POI Mapper, and Sprockler, I see ChatGPT as a natural next step in deepening my technological capacity. I am excited about immersing myself in AI to enhance both strategic planning and community-centric program design across development contexts.
