Rachel Katstaller

☻ Hi there!

My name is Rachel Katstaller, I'm an Innsbruck based illustrator, originally from tiny tropical El Salvador, where I studied Strategic Design. After a period in New York, where I attended the Summer Residency in Illustration at the School of Visual Arts, I relocated to Innsbruck, Austria together with my cat Hemingway.

I now work for several international publishing houses concentrating on children’s books, editorial illustration and creating insightful and honest illustrations for brands. My first authored and illustrated book "Skater Cielo" was published in 2022 and received a starred review by Kirkus Reviews.

Hemingway still remains skeptical about the cold weather and lack of palm trees to climb.
