In Mexico, most people do not have formal jobs, forcing them to risk their lives daily to earn a living. They have faced this daily struggle before COVID-19 and will continue to do so after it. This is a tribute to the people who sustain this country.
While our president irresponsibly states that the pandemic in our country is under control, the numbers and reports point in the opposite direction. The juxtaposition of data and manipulation of information will make this a ticking time bomb. The lack of strategy and criteria for managing this crisis will have a brutal impact. The health issue will be reflected in the country's social, economic, and emotional aspects.
Not all of us will survive, but those who do will have the responsibility not to make the same mistakes of the past.
.....
The commercialization of homemade masks has become the source of livelihood for the informal trade.

In Mexico, one of the traditions when a loved one passes away is to carry a cross made of metal or wood to their grave.
.....
The reality is that some people follow the rules, some don't, but all are looking for a way to make it through another day.
