Susie Marcroft

Susie Marcroft has a Bachelor of Visual Arts, Honours from Southern Cross University. Her art practice is primarily sculptural although she likes to work across other mediums. Susie's thinking is situated in post-humanist theories, radical notions of consciousness, and human-animal studies. Her work seeks to elicit empathic responses from a viewer that might lead to a deeper contemplation of the contradictions that perplex human-animal relationships, and our attitudes to all Others.

Susie has a studio and gallery in the Victorian Goldfields village of Heathcote, called Mudwood Studio where she shows her work and the work of other local artists. ()
