Graphic Design - Illustrator -Instructor
I am a graphic designer with over 12 years of experience in illustration, print and web design. I graduated from NDU-Louaize in the fall of 2014 with a Masters of Arts degree where I remained a graphic design instructor, and Iam currently writing my PhD thesis on Digital Activism at Doctoral School of Literature, Humanities & Social Sciences. One of my course objectives at NDU is teaching students step by step the illustration process with the different software available. I have taken on a similar role at Intoact where I conducted training sessions. These hands sessions have played an intricate part in allowing me to fully master the software and its multiple applications.
Over the past few years I have worked as an illustrator and graphic designer for a variety of businesses and have been featured in a UAE reality TV show with Cyrine Abdel Nour. During my time on the show I have worked on a design for activism in Bila Hdood.
For four years I worked as Senior Illustrator at ERC Publishing House in Zouk where I illustrated and edited more than eighty academic books for Pan Arab region and Ghana. Recently, I worked as a freelancer at SABIS Education Services in Adma where I created characters for Phonics Books, USA – and illustrated story books for Panama, SABIS schools worldwide and Pan Arab. Additionally, I was an illustrator for the Siligraphy team at the German Arabic workshop and I am currently collaborating with online illustration books platforms.
My graphic designer experience includes an internship at Impact BBDO – Beirut creative department and a position as creative director at Ace M Media advertising agency in Beirut. Additionally, I have freelance experience as a graphic designer working on projects for several international and local companies.
