Denise Bull

I started watercolor at age of 69. I studied art when in college, but did not have good painting instruction. This last year I was home caring for my husband who was recovering from heart surgery. I had started a few tutorials on watercolor. Then, the pandemic confined me to home, so that was an opportunity to explore and practice. I continued tutorials to learn how color and water react. I did a few paintings of my kids' dogs. My paintings are pretty controlled. I would like to loosen up and try new techniques.
