Fantastic course! Laura is so positive and very, very encouraging. In addition to clearly explaining each step and leading you through the processes, she reminds you that the journey, the process, is the delightful thing in itself. The final product, the art piece we've completed is a bonus after the delightful, playful, engaging process. I feel like I've been set-free from a lot of the limiting factors (self-doubt, worry, etc) which hinder the freedom of creativity. Now I'm free! Thanks Laura!

Really great course. loved to experience with charcoal. i even did an anime sketch for my boyfriend after taking that course!

I loved this course. Laura is an excellent teacher and I have been using the information already and have produced a couple of pictures that I am quite proud of. I will definitely book into another of Laura’s courses, even though I thought I was an oil painter I am happily surprised by this new ( for me) medium. Thanks Laura. I highly recommend this course.

A great course plus the monoprinting section was a surprise which sent me off with some new creative ideas. I introduced my children to the monoprinting section and straight away they wanted to get started, so if you have children that you are trying to encourage to put down their screens and create, then this may be the catalyst you need.

Laura is a great teacher, who loves experimental and spontaneous ways of drawing. I enjoyed the course and learnt a lot. Clearly recommended!

The course give me a lot of inspiration. Laura's explanation is clear. I forgot a bit about the monoprint and it's posibility's. So it's a fine course for me.

I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn the basics of Charcoal drawing. I found Laura easy to follow, interesting in her explanations and so relaxing to watch.
I am excited to create charcoal and combine it with my other favourite medium, watercolour.
I shall be following Laura McKendry on YouTube and other social media platforms as I find her very inspirational.
Lastly, I will be looking out for other courses she has done.
