Each lesson is unique and teaches something different, but they all have a common denominator: they encourage experimentation, which I believe is one of the best teaching methods. The whole course encourages you to be creative and find your own style. I highly recommend it to everyone, I will definitely be coming back to it myself.

I love the way Laura teaches and how she encourages you to experiment and let go of perfectionism. 100% recommendable.

What a wonderful course! Laura is very motivating, her attitude towards creating is- play and don`t treat your creations like something super valuabe. In this way mistakes are part of the process, in fact happy mistakes often help in creativity. I also like her tone of voice, it`s quiet and accepting, therefore it helps the student to loosen. The course is well constructed, it touches on different aspects of monoprinting and lets the students be aquainted with the materials. Bravo, Laura!

Ik geniet erg van de cursussen van Laura. Ze is een hele goede docent. Haar rustige manier van onderwijzen maakt dat je de tijd hebt het te verwerken. Ze maakt enthousiast en biedt nieuwe manieren van werken met de materialen. Je ogen worden geopend in het zoeken naar nieuwe materialen en mogelijkheden. Ik zou graag meer cursussen van haar volgen. Misschien zelfs een keer een workshop live!

I'm loving this course, Laura is a wonderful teacher in the way she encourages play, experimentation and that there is no right or wrong way of working in your chosen medium. I have always been nervous to try charcoal, thinking it very unforgiving, but she shows that this is not the case.

I will do any course that features Laura McKendry. More please.

Corso molto interessante, suddiviso fondamentalmente in 2 sezioni: stampe e carboncino. L'insegnate è davvero brava, da spunti molti molto interessanti e consigli davvero preziosi.

Interesante la técnica de mezclar el polvo de carboncillo con agua.

An excellent course that allows plenty of time to get used to using the media. It’s nice to be told by a tutor if you like what you have done don’t do more . Very good value.

Laura's classes are always so inspiring and helpful. I love the inclusion of monoprinting and animals as subjects in this one, as well as the techniques she covers. She's a great teacher, no matter what she's teaching.
