This is a wonderful course that is filled with loads of interesting history alongside practical techniques. A very enjoyable course that has enhanced my artistic skills.

I have been surprised by the quality of this course : step by step we follow Michele Bajona and his passion for Leonardo, Renaissance, drawing ... and it is a wonderful and so interesting journey with lots of tips and references!! I highly recommend this course!!

Michele is a brilliant teacher. I've learnt so much His understanding of history in relation to drawing is excellent. He explains Leonardo da Vinci and his tonal values and techniques clearly. The breadth and depth of the courses materials is wonderful.
So pleased I started this course

Excellent information and teaching from Michele Bajona. He really understands the history, style and artistic approach of Leanardo da Vinci. I learned a lot about Leonardo's use of tonal values to give the portrait depth and volume.

I really enjoyed the course and received both artistic tools and a short history lesson on Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance art.

I would not recommend this course because it addresses very, very basic drawing notions.

A course on portraits and moreover, using a classical method, should definately be an advanced course. Students should already have mastered such basic notions as to how to create 3d effects with shadows. Not to mention the videos on botanical and anatomy drawing. I felt mislead by the title.

Would I recommend this course? Most definitely! I haven't drawn in over 20 years so was quite anxious about starting but Michele's step by step approach, clarity and calm demeanor made it all too easy. Feedback and tips provided throughout the course was invaluable! My only issue is that it had to come to an end. In saying that, I have seen past students posting new projects and Michele is more than happy to provide feedback! Now that's what I call a true artist!
