Sketchbook botânico: uma abordagem meditativa

This course is outstanding! Latin’s knowledge of botanical art history as well as his technical know-how make this so fascinating. His calm, soothing voice is pleasant and helps with the meditative process. I am only midway through his lessons but am thoroughly enjoying every step!

Wonderful course. I love this slow meditative approach to botanical drawing and painting. In an age where people are rushing around trying to do things faster and faster it's good to slow down, relax and take the time to really understand the plant or flower you want to draw and Lapin has a calm, soothing manner as he describes the process which is almost like a meditation in itself.

Totally enjoyable course, teaches how to let go of perfectionist tendencies and just relax and enjoy the creative process. I’m a huge fan of Lapin and his teaching style, so inspiring to watch him work, well worth taking this course.

I highly recommend Lapin's Botanical course. His meditate approach to drawing a plant leaf by leaf is teaching me observational skills meanwhile enjoying the process. Lapin is incredibly generous in explaining his technique and working in a relaxed way that is easy to follow even for beginners. I'm learning a lot taking my time, which makes sense because we are drawing plants at their own rhythm.

A great course! Watching Lapin draw is mesmerizing and through the calm and clear way he explains what he does you learn a lot.

This is the second class I've taken from Lapin. I love his calm voice but vibrant shirts and drawings! The idea of calm and peace from drawing is something I need. I like to style of detail but some whimsey thrown in too. I think it's very joyful and it celebrates the beauty of nature!

I've been keeping a sketchbook since I took Lapin's last class and I'm anxious to learn more techniques to fill up many more sketchbooks!

Curso extremadamente difícil para los que iniciamos. El tallerista MUESTRA cómo trabaja él, pero NO ENSEÑA a los que no sabemos dibujar las bases del trazado. Sus ejemplos son sumamente complicados y no explica en qué parte de la planta va al copiar. Es un curso muy bonito, pero está destinado a estudiantes avanzados en dibujo, no a absolutos principiantes. Recomiendo este curso a dibujantes experimentados que desean superarse.

enjoyed this course immensely Lapin is wonderful not only his great talent for botanicals his voice is so soothing learned a lot but also so relaxed while taking this course Lapin nailed it in everyday already recommended it to two of my friends thank u Lapin cannot wait for another botanical course from you one of man passions botanical drawing

I am enjoying this course very much. Lapin’s soothing voice added to the meditative quality of drawing that he is teaching. I have learned things about layering and blending that have been very helpful.

Me encanta lo que dibuja pero me gustaría que explicara un poco mas que parte de la mata (o foto) está dibujando para poder seguirlo con mas facilidad. Excelente que haga un comentario a cada post de los alumnos!!

Me gustó realizar la paleta de color y dibujar directamente con el rotulador. Lo recomiendo!

Wow! I found this course so educational, informative and inspiring. Lapin did a very good job of teaching in English and going slow enough so that you could really see what he was doing. I appreciated seeing the entire process step by step and have already seen improvement and ideas from this course seep into my other styles of artwork. I purchased two of the books recommended (most beautiful flowers, Ernst Haeckel) and am having a blast getting inspired by those. Kudos kudos Lapin. Thanks
