Sketchbook botânico: uma abordagem meditativa

I am thoroughly enjoying this course. Lapin provides a clearly accessible sequence for both beginners and experienced artists. Each lesson is inspiring, appropriately challenging and easy to follow. The online community is supportive and encouraging. I anticipate continuing to work using this meditative approach even after I complete the class.

Like this guy’s style very much. The technique of concentrating on drawing one line at a time is definitely calming. Also it’s my own natural preferred style of drawing. I may throw out all my other drawing books.

I loved his approach to drawing and painting plants while examining them carefully in view. The process was meditative and thoughtful, with beautiful results.

Lapis’s manner of teaching is gentle, calming and totally inspiring! His attention to detail is fantastic and his presentation throughout the course is professional and encouraging. He also makes a point to encourage and advise each student individually which shows his interest and care. I would highly recommend this course!

I am only within the first couple of lessons, and would highly recommend this course. Lapin’s explanations and demonstrations make it easy to follow along with each lesson.

Lapin's work is beautiful and I learned how to slow down. How to use painting as a meditation. I am English speaking so his video was easy for me to listen to. I learned about the supplies he uses. The only criticism would be the irritating background music and the videos could be shorter. i hope this is helpful

I have learned so much already! Lapin is an excellent teacher and his way of explaining the content is clear and calming. I would have never tried some of these materials and I am thrilled with the results I am getting. His direction on how to get started and what to draw first was incredibly helpful for me. As a beginner, this class has been liberating and now I can't wait to take my hour (or 4) and lose myself for awhile in a plant.

I am still working my way through this course but I am very inspired by it so far. Lapin is a great teacher, he doesn't go too fast or set very difficult tasks early on so I am comfortable with the pacing and learning a lot. Love his style! This course makes it easy to feel creative in the comfort of your own home.
There are a couple of materials required though, so be warned the initial cost is a little pricey if you want to get some decent paints and other materials.

The teacher produces amazing work, guides students really well, and makes it fun and approachable. I'm excited to keep going!

This was a fun and relaxing class. I learned some tips using color pencil and highlight pens. This was wonderful. I hadn’t used those before in my watercolor and this really brings it up a few notches. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and expertise.

This course is great. Lapin is a wonderful teacher, offering many great tips and taking you through many examples of his technique. He’s truly inspired me to go draw all of my succulents now!
