I am a lapsed watercolorist and so the basic instruction from Sarah on tone, value and color was actually very helpful. Only halfway through the course, waiting for Christmas to be over to get started up again. Love the way she teaches.

So far I have really enjoyed Sarah'a course. I have been doing watercolor for 2 and hald years, although I feel I have improved, I learned somethings already from Sarah that I am sure will improve my work! Especially in using a complimentary color for shading! That has always been a little frustrating.Looking forward to completing this course and enrolling in other courses of hers!

Great course,enjoyed it . I would love to see her teaching some of the other images that she shows at the start of the units.

This was my first paid tutorial. I do not feel this course was for me being a beginner. The instruction was good until it came to the actual painting. First, two birds were already done. I tried but gave up when I couldn’t achieve the blending style of the artist. I am putting this away for when I feel more confident to try again.

Although I'm a painter (oil colors) +a bit with water colors, BUT this was the 1st course that I’ve taken about water colors. I find it enjoyable and informative. You learn watercolor painting techniques. Sara Stokes takes you step by step through the whole process of paint. techniques, then birds painting in water colors, also with inspirations of other painters. It's an important step (also for me) before going further discovering myself what would I do with it.

This was the first course that I’ve taken and I found it really enjoyable and informative. I learnt a lot. Sarah Stokes takes you through the whole process of painting birds in watercolour and inspires you on.

Sarah delivers this course in very clear and easy stages giving the learner confidence in using watercolour. The videos teach you how to use the materials successfully in order to reach a very satisfactory outcome.

The course was informative and thorough. The instructor gave examples at each stage and I appreciated the "layout" portion and her emphasis on how important it is. In addition, the instructor, frequently, reminded and exhibited how patience is one of the most critical aspects to watercolor art. It's something I struggle with and just thought that I didn't really know how to watercolor but it turns out that I'm just jumping in while things are still wet. I highly recommend this class.

Un buen curso. Creo que todos los cursos de acuarela empiezan igual, con rudimentos de la técnica. Debería haber más cursos avanzados

Very informative and very well set out.
The detail of all the steps to paint a Birds was great.
I also liked the little exercises before hand.
Would highly recommend it, I’m a beginner at watercolours and feel I have a lovely piece of work
