This is a wonderful course and Sarah is a great teacher. It's clear and concise and very doable. The only thing that has been difficult for me is that I did not know that a printer would be needed, and I don't have a working one at the moment.

Practice exercises allow you to build your skills and your confidence and it is perfect for a beginner as you will learn all of the basics you need. Useful references are provided so you can follow each project step-by-step and you don’t need artistic experience to enjoy the learning process. Highly recommended. This is one of the best short courses I have ever done. Each module was explained and demonstrated clearly and not too long. It was all easy to follow. I would have liked to see all the birds demonstrated instead of just two. I can’t wait to see another watercolour course by Sarah.

I’ve taken more than a few online classes & Sarah Stokes is far and away the best art teacher. She explains everything clearly and demonstrates every technique in ways that make it easy to successfully accomplish. I learned so much and improved my skills tremendously! And, most importantly, I understand the theories. For example, I never clearly grasped tone or value. By making Sarah’s tonal value tool & doing the charcoal studies, I understand them & realize & value are critical.
