Candi Hogan

Hi I'm Candi, and excited to learn about painting birds! My degree was in Psychology, but I had lots of art courses in college, and attended art school in Laguna Beach, CA. (about 100 years ago). Life and business, for the most part, kept me from doing art for years until I retired. Since then I have been taking various online art courses and have been doing mostly still life setups. Recently a friend's dog passed away, and after painting its portrait, have gotten into painting dogs. They say you should paint what you love, and animals are certainly high on my list. My biggest regret is that I did not start painting earlier, there is so much to learn! I recently took another course on painting birds, and will try to include what I painted there. This course I feel is a natural progression!
