Beverley Collingwood

I am a 48 year old Chef & Hospitality professional and I have worked in the industry for over 30 years both Front of house and Back of house. I decided after this many years that I am no longer happy working in hospitality and want to work for myself. I have always had a passion for creating new and traditional foods but I have always enjoyed baking too. I have recently started my own business called Bev's Bakes, making cupcakes, seasonal cakes (Traditional Christmas Cakes) biscuits, jams & chutneys. Making cakes makes me smile!

The business is only 6 weeks old (roughly) but already I have had a few orders from local shop owners, friends and family. My sister Michelle has her own business making handmade wedding invitations so ultimately having been an accomplished Head chef for many years and having a talent for creating delicious cakes and bakes it makes sense to merge together into what hopefully will be a thriving family business.
