Marta Zubieta

Zubieta (Marta Zubieta) is a Bristol based multidisciplinary artist who explores popular culture through the combination of retro and tropical references. With her characters she describes the myths and clichés of the generation Z and millenials. Inspired by Tumblr gif artists collectives, electrocumbia rhytms coupled with southamerican chicha and sci-fi movies, her colorful illustrations tickle an optical festival for the mind willing to travel through the vines of a neptunian jungle.
