I am an experienced English teacher, translator, editor, and native Turkish language speaker. With a proven track record in each of these fields, I am eager to bring my diverse skill set and passion for language proficiency.
As an English teacher, I have over fifteen years of experience developing comprehensive curricula and fostering an engaging learning environment to varied learning styles and academic levels. My approach emphasizes critical thinking, cultural awareness, and effective communication, which has consistently resulted in measurable student progress and achievement.
In the realm of translation, I possess extensive expertise in translating a wide range of materials, from literary works to technical documents, with a focus on accuracy, cultural nuance, and linguistic fidelity. In addition to my teaching and editorial work, I am also a story writer. My narratives have found a home in various e-magazines, and by the end of this year, I will proudly have two published stories to my name. I am always learning and growing, currently adding German to my language skills.
In my personal life, I am a devoted mother to my daughter (Aslı-21) and share my home with two cats (Kiwi & Gofret). I enjoy exploring new places, meeting new people, and cherishing moments with my friends. I am engaged in doing embroidery, watching horror and psychological thriller films, and taking dancing classes. My passion for cooking adds further joy to my life. I have just started an e-commerce site with my partner and daughter. I hope it snowballs.
