Tracy McCoey

I am a printmaker. I am on the MFA course at Belfast School of Art, Ulster University. I am also a biology/marine biology teacher, and I have taught in Ireland and USA (I am an American living in the north of Ireland). I am very interested in climate change, and how it is affecting the oceans. I created 2 accordion books as part of my degree show using collographs and photoetches. I enjoyed the process and liked the 3-dimensionality of presenting my work. I visited the Jaffe Artist Book collection at Florida Atlantic University, and that has also inspired me to learn more about creating artist books.
