Sylvia Edgerton

I am interested and have done a lot of abstract nature photography. In my art, I am often inspired by textile and fashion even though I don't wear anything fashionable and don't sew really. The organic nature of this class suits me just fine. I enjoy the perfection of imperfection. I love the feel of embroidery thread and have played around with it to make friendship bracelets, small decorations on my clothing and now make mask lanyards for my friends. I am excited to be learning more techniques and going farther in my exploration of embroidery.
