Robbie Chen

Hi, I'm Robbie, a Taiwanese immigrant living in Belize. I have a piece of property with a small creek, and I'm interested in becoming a landscape designer. I'm drawn to the idea of creating beautiful and sustainable landscapes that reflect the local environment and culture.
I'm working on developing my skills through hands-on projects on my own property. I'm excited to learn more about the different aspects of landscape design, such as plant selection, hardscaping, and drainage.
I'm particularly interested in designing landscapes that are water-wise and low-maintenance. I think this is important, especially in Belize, where we have a tropical climate and water resources can be limited at times. I'm also interested in designing landscapes that incorporate native plants and attract wildlife.
I'm still in the early stages of my career as a landscape designer, but I'm eager to learn and grow. I'm also excited to share my passion for landscape design with others. I believe that well-designed landscapes can have a positive impact on our physical and mental health, and I’d like to help people create beautiful and sustainable spaces that they can enjoy.
I'm also interested in learning more about the Belizean landscape and culture. I think it's important for landscape designers to understand the local environment and culture when designing landscapes. I'm eager to learn more about the different types of plants and animals that are native to Belize, as well as the traditional Belizean culture.
