Stella Spantidaki

I am a textile archaeologist from Athens, Greece. I study ancient textile remains discovered in excavations; I specialise in Late Bronze and Iron Age Greece (ca 18th - 2d century BC). I started exploring experimental archaeology in order to be able to test various possibilities to create different patterns and so started weaving on a vertical loom. In parallel, I started knitting and my latest hobby is crochet, which I love, although I still am a beginner.
Amigurumis seem magical to me and I would love to be introduced into their wonderful world.
