After my A levels, I studied an art foundation to gain more experience in design before starting a degree in Fashion Promotion (with sandwich) at UCLan. During the course we covered Advertising, Adobe Illustrator, Marketing, Packaging Design and Branding. In my 3rd year I had a placement in London working for Majestic Athletic designing sports fan wear for NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS and England Football. I also project managed the opening of the first MLB pop up store in Covent Garden, London.
After graduating university with a First, I started a job in Retail Furniture which consisted of buying of home accessories, POS designing, Visual Merchandising and In store refurbs.
After a few years I decided I wanted to challenge myself more and keep learning more things that interested me. I started to work for Faber - a hospitality design company - doing the FF&E buying. I loved seeing how different parts of the Design industry worked. I've always had an interest in Branding, so seeing how this was processed in hospitality was also interesting for me.
On the side, I also draw prints which I started in the first covid lockdown - Harper Moon.
