Where to look.

My intention with this course was to improve my watercolour technique and learn how to create an illustration, from the initial idea to the final image.

I decided that the illustration should tell a little story. I created mine with a short story underneath. That was my story — I hope the image inspires others to find theirs.

I have used a Van Gogh watercolour set, white guasch from Windsor and Newton and several brushes (Escoda, Milan, Winsord and Newton and DaVinci). The paper was Canson Heritage 300 g cold press.
