My project for course: Vibrant Portrait Drawing with Colored Pencils

I love to observe and draw colorful skin. That's why I am attracted by this course.
I learnt a lot from Gabriela.
* I used to add brown, black in my drawings that made my works look very muddy. I also closed contour lines, that made my old portrait looks weird/unnatural. I am not confident enough therefore I always draw fuzzy lines. And I used to draw every teeth. Gabriela‘s pointed out many common problems that are also my problems.
* I feel that it is very difficult to draw hair. I usually skip drawing hair, or just use outlines to represent hair. Some people accept this representation but others think that my drawings are incomplete. Gabriela suggested a good way to handle hairs.
Here I uploaded my very first completed portrait after this course. There are still a lot to practice and experience. I will continue to try the following, black hair, old man/lady, child, dark skin color.
