My project for course: Botanical Sketchbooking: A Meditative Approach

Someone bought me some peonies so i decided my final project would be taking the peony through bud to decay. As i am getting close to my coloured pencil course i needed to work on that technique so the process is different from rest of my task work but still with aim on a meditation.
Step 1. sketches at different stages
Step 2. Colour matching
Step 3. the Bud
Step 4. the Unfurling
Step 5. the bloom
Step 6. the first decay
Step 7. last legs of the flower.
I learnt a lot and was pleased with some bits, less so with others.
