My project in Naturalist Illustration Techniques: Whales in Watercolor course

I tried to draw silhouettes of whales on my previous course. And I was so carried away by these amazing creatures that when I saw your course, Antonia, I could not resist and joined.

I drew this orca by experimenting with ink

Thanks for the additional materials, sketches, techniques. I also used sandpaper to convey the texture of the whale. Interesting experience ;)
It is difficult to keep the proportions, but I try very hard. As to find a nice photo of a blue whale in the full size.
I'm not happy with that drawing of a blue whale but I will definitely draw more (watching movies and doing research about this giant)
