Hola a todos, les presento mi proyecto personal basado en un personaje de la película de Disney de 1985 “Return to Oz” llamado Tik Tok.
Tik Tok es un hombre mecánico robótico único creado por L. Frank Baum. Aparece como uno de los personajes principales en el tercer libro de Oz de Baum titulado "Ozma of Oz" (1907).
Tik Tok es un robot aparentemente de cobre y / o bronce, durante la mayor parte de la película, el personaje se puede ver en una versión oxidada y sucia y al final de la película se muestra una versión limpia, pulida y de un dorado brillante.
Decidí basar mi trabajo en la versión brillante y pulida con algunas pequeñas imperfecciones.
Modelado en Zbrush, retopología, rigg y animación en Maya, mapeo uv con UV Layout, texturizado en Substance Painter, retoque de texturas con Photoshop y renderizado con la Marmoset Toolbag.

This is so beautiful. It instantly transported me back to nearly 40 years ago in 1985 when I first saw this movie as a kid. If not for this character, that movie would have suffered, as it already was on the weird and scary side of the line. But The Wizard of Oz is my all-time favorite movie (the original, of course). This guy I just have a soft spot for. And the moose-headed couch. LOL Anyhow, thank you for the inspiration. I am terrible at drafting but I will learn if it kills me. I feel like this would be a cool steampunk lamp if printed and then copper plated with the help of graphite. Or a charging station... ***Gathers up some parts*** Shoot, maybe even an actual robot, if I can pull off the drafting part. There are a couple on thingiverse that could be adapted... Hmmm.... :)

@fckoffndyeit Thank you for taking the time to comment. I am very glad that you liked my work. I had also thought about printing it in 3d, it requires making certain adjustments to the mesh and optimizing for a good impression, maybe one day I'll take the time. Greetings.
