My project in Chiaroscuro Creative Portrait with Pencils course

Thank you so much Marco for such a wonderful course, you really have helped to push me to think more creatively and I’ve learnt a lot. My piece for the course is a portrait of my daughter surrounded by the flowers from a beautiful tree in her nanny’s garden which was planted the year she was born and we have watched grow until her nanny passed away recently. I hoped to capture a thoughtful mood. I decided to do an additional piece as I wanted to try and get a feeling of joy through using a warmer colour palette, I feel I may have overworked it a bit but it was a good lesson to learn. Thanks again....now I will look forward to starting on the next course I have with you.
