Tracy Wise

Tracy Wise is a proud Barkindji Ngiyampaa woman from New South Wales/Victoria Australia. Tracy is an Artist, Blak Designer and Koorie Liaison Officer in the Education industry. "The first dress I made, I was 15. It was a floral pleated fish bone dress that I wore to a NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Day of Observance)". Tracy's is inspired by her work peers to get back into creating wearable art/fashion wear. Tracy is also learning and gaining valuable technical skills in Gold and Silver Smithing. "I believe that, "without jewellery" a good dress is incomplete. The accessories is extremely complementary."
