Mojo Wang

Hello beautiful humans. I'm Mojo, an illustrator and comic artist who lives in New York City.

Growing up in Shanghai, drawing was a major part of my life since childhood. But it was more of a hobby until I graduated from university when I decided to pursue a career in illustration. After years of self-employment, I landed a position in ELLE MEN magazine as a photo editor, working with amazing artists.

In 2017, I quit my full-time job and moved to New York City for the MFA Illustration as Visual Essay program. I have been expanding the horizon of my new career as a freelance illustrator since then.
Focusing on blurring the boundaries between illustrations and visual narratives, my works have been recognized by the Society of Illustrators and the AI-AP with a client list including Kiehl's, Nike, Apple, NYTimes, New Yorker, Wired Magazine, The Economist, and The Politico.
