Martina Hoffmann

I'm a freelance illustrator, art director and producer for animated commercials and short films. Whether digital or analog, portrait drawing, explainer film production, logo design or illustrated children's books - I love variety and diversity both project- and stylewise. I have worked for brands like Volkswagen, Deutsche Bahn, Universal Music and ZDF.

In my personal work, I work both with traditional media like watercolor or ink and with digital techniques. I love to create magical worlds, broad nature landscapes and portrait drawings with a poetic side note.

I've been creating and self publishing calendars for children since 2004 and gained a lovely and loyal fan base with them. They were also the foot in the door for children's book illustration. I worked for publishers like Fischer Verlage, Herder, Ellermann, Dressler and Arena Verlag.
