Erin Connolly

Hello, my name is Erin Connolly, and I am from Wisconsin, United States. My educational background includes degrees in Business Administration and Health Information Management; I am also a fan of learning in general, and do a lot of research. I retired from the corporate world two years ago, with most of my time spent in the administrative side of commercial printing, retail and health care, along with volunteering in two different art- and cultural-related non-profits.

My current focus is to develop a solid sales outlet for the variety of crafts and hobbies that I enjoy. After several years of slow sales through an eclectic art gallery with inconsistent hours, a friend and I are striking out on our own! We are planning to establish an online sales presence, utilizing the many social media platforms available. If things go well, we may eventually look to open our own art gallery / studio, and offer various art classes, as well. I have spent so many years trying to help others with their businesses, it's time I did it for myself! (I have owned my own business in the past.) Having a concrete plan to follow will improve our outcomes, giving this venture the best chance to survive, thrive and grow!

I am taking courses here to (1) understand more about digital media, and the best ways to utilize it; and (2) increase my knowledge of craft methods.
