Wonderful course with nice exercises to introduce one to gouache. I love her style and her approach to teaching. I have enjoyed exploring gouache and I look forward to working more in this medium.

I have enjoyed the course very much. I love Emma’s paintings and how she portrays the world around her. I have learned a lot and aspire to more. I hope to find my own style one day, I hope it will be along the lines of Emma’s.

Such a fantastic course! I'm half way through and loving Emma's calm direct approach to painting with Gouache. Emma's breakdown of the colour wheel and how warm and cool colours work is the most straightforward no nonsense explanation I've come across! I loved it and got it immediately :-) Thanks Emma.

This course is perfect for beginners who wants to learn how to use gouache and brushes, how to create different textures.

Emma provides a clear and simple approach to using gouache in illustration. The course is brief and I'd like to see more examples, but overall, I think a beginner would appreciate this class.

the presenter was very articulate and pleasant to watch and understood her subject. however her demonstrations were too small and pale for the presentation. they were filmed at a very unhelpful angle.

Like her books, this course by Emma Block, was excellent! She is an accomplished artist with an engaging teaching style, who explains and demonstrates each step in meticulous detail. I will always be interested in a class or book by Emma.
