I got a lot of great tips from this course with Chris Gambrell! I was really afraid of working with pastels, but now I feel more confident. I will continue to practice working with pastels and I cannot wait to complete a finished piece!

Very informative course on the basics of mark making and color theory with pastels. Knowledge of portraits will be beneficial but it was nice to see Chris's process of making Patel portraits form start to finish.

Der Kurs ist ausgezeichnet angeleitet, in einer sehr angenehmen und sympathischen Art. Es schaut total easy aus, wenn man Chris zusieht. Was man gleich feststellt ist, dass die Methode sehr gut ist. Die Herangehensweise an ein Bild, die Farbauswahl, Skizzen und Materialkunde sind ein sehr gutes Paket und haben mir richtig Lust auf Pastellkreide gemacht. Ich werde sicher weiter üben, die Begeisterung hat Chris auf jeden Fall geweckt. Vielen Dank!

This is an excellent course for beginners in soft pastel. Chris Gambrell shares all the knowledge he possibly can with tips and tricks and delving in as much detail as possible. Highly recommend!
