Working alongside Sarah Hand in her Paper Mache workshop felt like I was actually there with her - making, creating and collaborating. I felt comfortably guided and encouraged by her instructions and inspired to go further with my own experiments with Paper Mache Art. Her emphasis on “having a go, don’t worry about mistakes and it’s ok” gave me confidence to leave my creation a little bit crooked and embrace the wonky.

My ten year old daughter and I had a really wonderful time learning from Sarah and we loved our finished projects. This course is creative and fun, and kids can do most of the steps with a little adult help. It was also great that we didn't need to buy a lot of supplies!

I was looking for a relaxing no stress creative course and this was it! Sarah is an excellent communicator and I love how relaxed and encouraging she is in each lesson. Please, more paper mache classes from Sarah Hand!

I really really enjoyed this course. I wish she had another one! The instructor, Sarah Hand, had this lovely way about her. Think Bob Ross or Mr. Rogers. My project turned out great and I bought her book right away so I can continue my journey into paper mache.

I'm a Papier Mache newbie, and this course was a blast! Sarah is a fun and engaging teacher and the steps were clear and easy to follow. I'm half way done with my projects (I made two, couldn't help myself) -- I'm at the drying stage now -- and I'm hooked! Can't wait to sand and paint my projects. Excellent course. Even though I have been in the arts for years and a maker of much, I like that she makes it easy and fun while using basic materials without dumbing it down or talking below someone’s abilities. A very fun class. Love her art!

I do paper mache, have done many kinds of papers and materials and love trying new things. But I am always looking for new hints. I love Sarah’s methods and she keeps it simple.
