Too superficial and generic, doesn't help someone that is a beginner. only good for someone that already knows how to sketch perfectly and want to improve a little bit.

I have rewatched this course several times and always find the same frustration - the camera spends too much time on Tom’s face, him drawing, or the sketchpad in perspective, than it does on the actual drawing process, making it very hard to follow. I’m really not interested in the clock and the anatomical model behind him, which feature more than the sketching process.
His work is great, I’d consider his book, but don’t bother with this course.

I think this course trying to cover way too much in two hours, when frankly only doing the mannequin, hands + head would've been enough.

The whole "do a scene" part of it would've been better served as a separate course. Having said that, if you're an advanced beginner I feel it's a great resource, the teacher is great, very encouraging, and does a good job at simplifying the figure.

Excellent instructor! Through his simple, step-by-step instructions and examples, I understood some fundamentals that I’d never captured from many other art courses.

Good course.
