An excellent tutorial. The explanations were simple, clear & encouraging to a person, unsure of competence.
The peaceful rendering of botanical beauty is an added bonus.

I'm still working through the lessons -but so far it's been so enjoyable. Lapin is a natural teacher.

Beautiful initiation to watercolor (in my case, but it's also suitable for someone who already paints!). I haven't finished it yet, taking my sweet sweet time, but I know this won't be my last course! I love Lapin, the way he teaches and all these new possibilities at the tip of my fingers!

This is a very enjoyable course, Lapin is in my opinion a skilled artist and a good teacher. The course pushed me to pick up again my tools after years of inactivity and gave me confidence in my skills: I was afraid at the beginning for using a liner directly without pencil, but Lapin's meditative approach helped enormously to see the shapes and focus on how to reproduce them on paper. And if you make mistakes it doesn't matter, just enjoy the process and get creative

This is something I've always wanted to do. I've borrowed every book from the library on the subject, but none of them are like Lapin's approach. Calm, slow, meticulous. Looking at nature's wondrous design and putting it on paper. I've already recommended it to one friend.

I've been enjoying this course. It has given me the confidence to sketch and paint without fear of "sucking" at it. I've been just enjoying the feeling of it all.

I've seen better videos on Youtube for free. OK for absolute beginners (maybe) who have never picked up a pen, pencil or paintbrush before, but it is not suitable for anyone else in my opinion. Seemed to have a lots of 'filler' with lessons being much longer than they needed to be. Glad I didn't pay full price for it, as it is no way worth that. The calming meditative element was over played in the course description and I didn't feel it delivered what the description and info promised (sorry!)

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute 😆 Really easy to follow and really well made ⭐️ I definitely feel much more confident both sketching and painting and it has brought some peace into my life for which I am so thankful ☺️ Genuinely loved everything about this course and it’s inspired me to be more creative - 100% would recommend

The course with the artist Lapin allowed me to improve my watercolor painting. The title "Meditative Approach" best expresses the kind of course: training to observe and then paint succulents, flowers and leaves was also relaxing. I have found many helpful tips on painting materials. The artist also comments on the works and gives suggestions. I definitely recommend the course.
