It would have been helpful to know what tools were needed and approximate costs before I signed up for the course. The course was well presented but the cost of tools will make it unworkable for me at the moment. I would like to follow up at a later date. Good introduction to the craft.

Con más práctica y constancia espero lograr resultados mucho mejores ya que luego suelo ser muy impaciente y los trabajos repetitivos me cuestan trabajo, buen reto para mi por ahora. great course, have his book and the video clarified several items i wasnt certain of. will be going through it again.

The course is great. Matt is an excellent teacher. He takes the mystery out of making kumiko and he clearly and concisely explains all of the steps in order to complete the panel. The video wonderfully complements the book he wrote on the subject. I only wish he took the video one step further and demonstrated how he makes the outer frame with half-lap joints that surrounds the kumiko panel. For me at least, the explanation in the book isn’t 100% clear and I would love to see how he does it.

Great instructor, great videos

Have not attempted the project. The course seems to be most thorough. It is difficult to rate this without making at least one project, will return later. Did not care for the beard, but really liked the haircut, I see it every morning when I shave.
