I love it, love his style and the way he explains. However I was disspointed that eh didn't explain how he painst the picture and uses the gradient tool. But I learned heaps. very recommended.

I´m a quite fan of Art Deco and this course has only made me so far fall in love even more and understand the foundations for producing interesting pieces in a digital medium. I really recommend it.

I highly recommend this course. It has helped me learn to use more Adobe illustrator tools, such as gradients and transparencies which I struggled with before starting this course.
I’m excited to start creating agin with my newly acquired knowledge.
I personally think the course could have been a bit longer.
Overall, Mads is a great inspiration and great teacher.

Well if as me you are completly new to this, it's unusefull. It's too quick, he doesn't explain the commands and how he did such things, too are if you are a begginer. There it not enough explanation

Enjoyable learning, initial steps explained, only good for beginner on Illustration. But hope can discuss more about art deco elements as I really love the style....need to practice my AI skills and sketch skills.

Certainly interesting, art deco is always an elegant style that attracts attention.

really great course. It seems more achievable than I would've thought. The only thing I wish there was more of was the actual gradient process. Burgs finished the layout of the Hero then in the next video the gradients were already applied. I really wanted to see that process. Overall amazing course!

Fantastic course with an excellent demonstration of the entire creative process. I strongly recommend it to everyone who wants to increase the skills in the field of digital illustration

I did get some interesting tips:

- how he uses tracing paper in the sketch phase on individual elements so he can experiment with placing different elements in different parts of the composition
- overview of art deco stylizations and Mads use of gradation and texture

I would agree with some other reviewers that he could have went a little deeper in certain places. So I'd rate 3 stars if could. I got the course discounted and as I said did pick up some tips so I have no regrets :)

the whole illustration is focused on the gradients, on their integration and composition and in the course they are presented already performed !!
The texture lesson? 3 min and stop !!
Course too fast. He explains in a very superficial and hasty way
