A very fun course which not only teaches the viewer about whales, but also goes into detail about using watercolours to achieve realistic results (for the individual characteristics of 3 species of whale). It gives you the confidence and basics to explore further on your own, and her inspiration is great for getting outdoors to explore the natural world. I especially loved the color palette she suggested--the chromatic greys Antonia suggests work perfectly for any kind of marine-life projects.

Antonia is clearly very passionate about whales and their conservation. This course skillfully goes into detail cetaceans natural history and gives great advice and tips on how to achieve authentic and realistic illustrations of 3 differing whale species using step-by-step, easy to follow video tutorials. There is something very serene about the Antonia, from her choice of music to her voice that allows you to get fully absorbed in the moment whilst learning a new skill. Highly recommend!

I've really enjoyed this course. I used to paint a lot but took 8 years break from it. This course helped me to fall back in love with painting and the author's explanations and different techniques provided new challenges for me. I truly loved and very thankful that I got to try this course!
